ITaLI will fund up to five Higher Education Academy (HEA) Principal Fellows each year. Applicants will be selected by the DVCA and the PVCT&L.

Round status - closed

Principal Fellows are typically:

  • Highly experienced and/or senior staff with wide-ranging academic or academic-related strategic leadership responsibilities in connection with key aspects of teaching and supporting learning.
  • Staff responsible for institutional strategic leadership and policymaking in the area of teaching and learning.
  • Staff who have strategic impact and influence in relation to teaching and learning that extends beyond their own institution.

Principal Fellow applicants will work with mentors and peers to develop a portfolio that will be assessed by international leaders in teaching and learning.

Note that the application process for Principal Fellows is different to other Fellowship categories, as different experiences are evidenced.

Expressions of interest will open in early 2019. In the meantime, submit an enquiry to be notified when the next round opens.
