Alexandra began her career as an Art Director in advertising, then took an opportunity to open a professional design studio. After a successful decade of happy clients, Bond University came calling and initiated her transition into the education sector.
During her 14 years of lecturing at Bond, she designed and developed two fully accredited ACS degrees in Multimedia (BMM, MMM) and realised a deep interest in digital literacy.
Moving into the VET sphere broadened her knowledge and skills, especially in mapping and authentic assessment. This lead to a shift into education/learning design at both VET and university level, specialising in blended and eLearning, with a focus on the student experience.
