Anthea has 15 years’ experience as a learning designer, primarily in the university sector, with seven years at UQ. Anthea’s work has focused on academic development for flipped and blended classrooms through design workshops, consultations, the UQ2U project, and curation of the UQ Flipped Classroom website.

Anthea enjoys collaborating with academic colleagues to refine their pedagogy and has helped several win AAUT teaching awards. Her work has been recognised locally and internationally through Ascilite citations, conference presentations, workshops and publications. External engagements include the Australian Army Education Unit, JIS College India, and the Australian Trade and Investment Commission.

Anthea has a Master of Education (Educational Technology major) and is currently studying an education doctorate.
