Liam has worked in higher education for eight years, coming to the sector from a background in broadcast television production, with a brief stint as an English teacher in Japan.

Liam has experience in technical teams, solution design, business analysis and project management. He was recently involved with implementing research computing infrastructure supporting cancer research. The 'Biobank' uses software to track and manage physical blood samples and associated medical data in a robotic freezer.

Liam holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons 1st Class) in Media Production; a Master of International Business, specialising in eLearning for emerging markets; a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education; and Prince2 (Foundation) and ITIL (Foundation) certification.
