Liam has worked in higher education since 2010, coming to the sector from a background in broadcast television production, with a brief stint as an English teacher in Japan.

Liam has experience in technical teams, solution design, business analysis and project management. He has worked on UQ’s blended learning program (UQ2U, DLU) as well as the development of massive open online courses (MOOCs) with the UQx team.

Some past projects include implementing research computing infrastructure supporting cancer research and developing an interactive database of historical court records.
