Jacinta has worked in education roles for nearly two decades, delivering school, university and government-led curriculum, assessment and training programs. She has worked as an educator and researcher with schools (primary, secondary) and universities (JCU, QUT) as well as a project officer with the Queensland Department of Education and Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority. Jacinta’s expertise is to develop strategic implementations of faculty, school and state-wide programs to meet staff professional learning needs to lift student outcomes.

Jacinta joined ITaLI in 2021. She collaborates with staff across faculties and schools to support the design, production and evaluation of multi-modal learning resources and assessment for synchronous and asynchronous course delivery.

Jacinta holds a Master of Digital Design (Design in Education), a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) from Griffith University and a Graduate Certificate of Business (Integrated Marketing Communication) from Queensland University of Technology. As an Education Doctorate candidate, her research investigates how student assessment experiences influence their wellbeing and achievement.
