Work Integrated Learning and simulation provide a valuable opportunity for students to engage in realistic contexts and to apply their developing practice in an authentic environment. While valuable, these environments can be demanding and challenging for students, particularly for those identified as needing additional support, accommodations and adjustments. Depending on a range of circumstances, it can sometimes be difficult to determine suitable accommodations for individual student needs when working outside the conventional classroom, while still ensuring the authenticity and rigour of the learning experience.

Mind the SAP will explore ways of making suitable accommodations for individual student needs in Work Integrated Learning and simulation through a panel Q&A and facilitated post-panel discussions. The panel will be facilitated by Dr Freyr Patterson.
