You will need to bring your laptop with you. Drop in anytime within the 2 hour timeframe.

In an ‘observed’ user testing session, a “tester” is paired with an “observer” to review a digital assessment as students will experience it.  The focus is on reviewing for usability (not spelling, grammar, content etc.) enabling potential problems to be identified and rectified before students sit their assessments.

Who should attend:

Course coordinators with digital examinations who do not have access to an Observed User Testing process in their School.

Benefits of attending:
  • see how your assessment looks on a small laptop screen
  • see whether your assessment can be completed efficiently with only a track pad (no mouse)
  • identify potential usability or technological issues before they become a problem for students
