About Writing and presenting educational video

Writing for video is different from traditional academic writing.

In this online workshop, you will learn how to structure a script that focuses both on engagement and content. You will be introduced to proven techniques that ensure your presentation to the camera is professional and engaging for your audience.

Once you have completed the online course at your own pace, you are invited to visit the ITaLI media studio for a one-hour face-to-face session. You will record a video, receive individualised feedback on your performance and, in the process, learn how you might improve and apply what you have learnt to your own videos.

Target audience

All staff who wish to create videos for education or information sharing.
