ITaLI works collaboratively with UQ faculties, schools, and other divisions to create or promote innovative projects that influence and improve Teaching and Learning (T&L) practices, systems and technology within the University.

Current initiatives seek to:

  • Promote high-level strategic change at UQ for the enhancement of learning and the benefit of the student experience
  • Encourage collaboration across schools and faculties to improve teaching and learning (T&L) at UQ
  • Proactively share good practice in T&L across UQ.

Past initiatives

ITaLI has worked closely with schools and faculties to plan, develop, and execute a number of initiatives related to Teaching and Learning.

Teaching Innovation Grants (TIG) projects

Every year, the Teaching Innovation Grants scheme provides funding to UQ staff to investigate, develop and/or implement initiatives in teaching and learning that enhance the student experience and/or improve the quality of educational outcomes for students.
