About this Masterclass

Philosophy for Children (P4C) is not about the lives or thoughts of great philosophers, but is a practical process for learning to think. It has mostly been applied to primary and secondary school students, but has also been used in universities and workplaces. This masterclass will describe the procedure, summarise the research evidence, and invite participants to think about how it could be applied in their courses.

Benefits of attending

At the completion of this Masterclass, participants will have learned of the pedagogical value of P4C in their discipline, and be able to develop and implement a plan to apply it to a course.
