Assessment Design Community and Assessment Inquiry Network
Presented by ITaLI’s Digital Assessment Team (see Digital Assessment Learning Designers).
The Assessment Design Community (ADC) is an online Teams Community providing a place for UQ staff to collectively engage with all aspects of assessment and feedback design.
It is aligned to:
- UQ’s 2023 Plan on a Page which lists “review and uplift the quality of assessment tasks to ensure academic integrity and improve student learning outcomes” as a near term priority project
- the UQ Assessment Action Plan 2022-2027; and
- the UQ LaSER Position Paper which outlines the need for a “wholistic and progressive review of assessment”.
To inspire our education community and support the University’s commitment to these strategic imperatives, the ADC invites staff to use this collaborative place to share ideas, ask questions and discuss experiences, with the aim of disseminating insights useful for future practice.
The ADC Teams space also houses links to the diverse array of events, publications and resources on assessment and feedback design at UQ.
The Assessment Inquiry Network is a channel and series of events within the ADC specifically to explore scholarship on assessment and feedback, translate ideas from the literature into our assessment and feedback practice, reflect on current work, and boost professional growth.
