HEA@UQ is a professional recognition program that supports staff with teaching and learning experience and expertise to gain accreditation through the Higher Education Academy (HEA).

Outcomes of the HEA Fellowship:

  • develop a written application to evidence their teaching and/or learning support experience that includes a peer observation report a statement of support (or teaching reference)o a philosophy of teaching evidence of practice
  • be recognised with a relevant HEA Fellowship
  • be entitled to use the post-nominal AFHEA, FHEA, or SFHEA (depending on the level of application).
