About Developing a teaching philosophy

Presented by: Associate Professor Kelly Matthews

All academic staff include a teaching philosophy in their academic portfolio.

Beyond a requirement, developing a solid teaching philosophy is a means to enhance teaching practices.

Come along to this informal, yet informative workshop on developing a teaching statement or philosophy that can wonder promotion committees and guide your teaching practices to enhance student learning.

This course will enable participants to:

1. Evaluate examples of teaching philosophy statements
2. Outline their own statements.
