About this information session

Open information session convened by the PVC (Teaching and Learning), Professor Doune Macdonald and UQ2U Program Manager, Janet Frizzarin, as an introduction to the UQ2U Program.

In this session, we will showcase how we are combining faculty-based subject matter expertise with ITaLI’s learning innovation team in a collaborative project that is using evidence-based approaches to maximise campus-based ‘face time’ for active learning, complemented by high-value, flexible online content.

Guest presenters

• Associate Professor Stephen Andersen will present on his experience redesigning BIOM2012 Systems Physiology, with Dr Daniel Andrews, ITaLI Learning Designer. 
• Dr Michael Bulmer will present on his experience redesigning STAT1201 Analysis of Scientific Data with Dr Sandy Beach, ITaLI Learning Designer.
• Following the two presentations there will be a Q&A panel chaired by Professor Doune Macdonald including both course teams, and also, Acting Manager Learning Analytics and Learning Technologies, Dr Aneesha Bakharia and Media Production Manager, Matthew Petersen.
