Sometimes it is difficult to hold an engaging lesson when the subject matter is dry or if the students are not really ‘present’ during the session.

In this session, Chris will share ideas to build a community in your class through practical strategies. Participants will learn about creating more interactive and engaging moments with students online and on-campus by:

  • setting a suitable online environment
  • sharing examples of good practices
  • building that relationship and connection with students.

Professor Chris Tisdell is a passionate educator and educational researcher particularly working in STEM education research at UNSW Sydney.
