Tutoring in a learning space that combines online and on-campus students can present some issues and it can also present many opportunities.
This hour-long workshop is designed to help you think about the advantages of working with people in a hybrid learning environment. We will look at some of the basic tenets of good face-to-face tutoring and consider what changes need to be made to ensure your tutorials work online or with people in both spaces.
This workshop will assist you to:
- Revisit the design principles of good tutoring
- Develop appropriate learning objectives
- Develop a template for tutorials
- Consider how to make your tutorial activity-based
- Set you and your students up for success.
