This course will introduce participants to Ed  Discussion board - a tool,  that can be used to promote active learning.

Target Audience: Teaching staff, instructors, tutors and administrators.

Outcomes:

  1. To build awareness of how Ed Discussion can help scale class communication in a simple and intuitive interface.
  2. To acquire skills on how to create content (web snippets, LaTeX, code snippets, picture annotations, polls, announcements).
  3. To acquire skills on how to moderate discussions effectively (anonymity, thread templates, tagging).
  4. To learn best practices in using Ed Discussion for quality teaching and learning.
