Nantana Taptamat
Nantana has 15 years of teaching in secondary science and at UQ. Her dedication to pedagogical excellence has been recognised by multiple awards, including the HASS Teaching Award for Tutors and the winner of the SEAMEO Australia Education Award. Nantana’s previous learning design role includes designing and developing blended learning to enhance employability for UQ students and an online professional development program for hundreds of educators from Southeast Asia countries.
In her current role within the Faculty of Science, Nantana provides support to academic staff with designing curriculum, assessments, and active and flexible pedagogies to enhance teaching quality.
Nantana holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Education (Science Curriculum Studies) and has completed a PhD from The University of Queensland examining classroom everyday and scientific discourse.
