Tanya Tabolkina
Tanya has varied experience in secondary school teaching, curriculum design, educational research and University lecturing, as well as administration and student support within international education. She has experience as a secondary school teacher (History), educational designer of Social Science courses for undergraduate programs and a researcher of large-scale projects. She is passionate about teaching and learning innovations to support staff and to enhance student learning.
Her research work focused on the reform of the educational system during a rapidly changing society and its transition from state-controlled to a market-regulated economy. She explored the impact of turbulent economic reforms and rapidly changing social conditions and how this influenced the choices of school graduates for further education in her home country Ukraine, as well as determining society’s overall value of education in periods of transition.
Tanya holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Teaching) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from The University of Auckland.
