Position: Professor, School of Biomedical Sciences
Michael is a teaching and research academic based at the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBMS). His research focuses on understanding how neural stem cell biology contributes to brain development and function, and how aberrant neural stem cell biology can contribute to neurodevelopmental disorders. Michael's undergraduate teaching focuses on systemic anatomy, as well as stem cell biology. He is also currently the Director for Higher Degree Research at SBMS, and is passionate about supporting the growth and development of staff and students.
