You are invited to join us for a symposium on Indigenising absences in the curriculum. The symposium is part of a Teaching Innovation grant led by Professor Tracey Bunda and Associate Professor Katelyn Barney. We will explore the ways we have worked with six undergraduate courses (biomedical science, musicology, geography, engineering, vet science, and math/physics) at the beginning stages of integrating Indigenous perspectives into their curriculum to embed new Indigenised curriculum. The project team will discuss how curriculum was developed and piloted in these courses, the challenges and reflect on learnings.
Please email Associate Professor Katelyn Barney if you’d like to attend.
