Ed Discussion board

This course will be delivered online (via Zoom).

This course will introduce participants to Ed Discussion board, a tool that can be used to promote active learning.

Outcomes:

1. To build awareness of how Ed Discussion can help scale class communication in a simple and intuitive interface.
2. To acquire skills on how to create content (web snippets, LaTeX, code snippets, picture annotations, polls, announcements).
3. To acquire skills on how to moderate discussions effectively (anonymity, thread templates, tagging).
4. To learn best practices in using Ed Discussion for quality teaching and learning.
