Digital Teaching Standards
The Digital Teaching Framework is an initiative that seeks to describe the minimum and ‘best practice’ standards of that experience and, in doing so, provide a clear pathway to support, training, and professional learning, as well as illuminate areas of policy, practice, and infrastructure that can be improved or modified.
The Digital Teaching Minimum Standards initiative articulates the minimum standards of digital teaching quality for students enrolled in external modes of study.
This informal community supports and enhances technology-enhanced learning through collaboration and communication across the University and provides a forum to discuss opportunities. The community will occasionally invite guests to share in discussions with the community.
Outcomes:
- The outcome of the workshop (working bee) is to work together to unpack the Digital Teaching Threshold Standards and complete the review process supported by representatives from eLearning and the learning design community.
- From these sessions, course coordinators will compose an action plan to remediate against standards in courses determined to be not evident.
- Course coordinators will then provide checklists and action plans for analysis and evaluation.
