The Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences is committed to encouraging and recognising outstanding contributions to teaching and learning. The Faculty will celebrate its top teachers at an awards function on Friday, November 1.

Awards will be presented in the following categories:

  • Teaching Excellence
  • Early Career Teaching Excellence
  • Tutor Award.

Please join us for an award presentation ceremony, followed by a panel discussion with the winners of the Teaching Excellence and Early Career Teaching Excellence Award Winners. Drinks and catering will be provided at the conclusion of the ceremony.

About Teaching and Learning (T&L) Week 2024 28 October - 1 November

Teaching and Learning (T&L) Week is an opportunity for the UQ community to learn from one another and celebrate creative and innovative teaching and learning practices designed to enhance student learning.

The theme for 2024 is Future Ready, with 3 sub-themes:

  • UQ's future student cohorts
  • Preparing students for the future: AI and lifelong learning
  • Shaping UQ’s teaching and learning future –translating plans into action.
