Including Our Students – SAPs & Designing for All
At UQ, we have a legal and moral responsibility to provide an inclusive and participatory environment for all students. However, navigating the process of identifying and implementing adjustments for students can feel complex and challenging.
In this interactive workshop, we’ll unpack cases involving Student Access Plans (SAPs) and explore practical strategies to create more inclusive and participatory classrooms. You’ll collaborate with student advisors, learning designers, and fellow colleagues to share insights, learn from best practices, and apply innovative solutions to enhance the learning experience for students with diverse needs.
What you will learn:
This session offers a supportive space to deepen your understanding of SAPs, gain confidence in applying adjustments, and discover how these practices can enhance not only student outcomes but also the overall quality of teaching and learning at UQ. Together, we’ll work towards making our courses more inclusive spaces for everyone.
