About UQ Research Focused Academics in Teaching Network
Co-ordinated by: Associate Professor Timothy Wells
The UQ Research Focused Academics in Teaching Network is open to all UQ research staff interested in teaching, but especially research-focused (RF) staff who aim to teach, or who are already contributing to teaching at UQ.
This network connects research-focused staff across UQ who are looking to:
- explore opportunities to teach
- enhance their pedagogical skills, or
- share their experiences in teaching with other staff.
The network will promote the sharing of practices, nurture and support career development, provide opportunities to engage productively with staff, and facilitate discussion with the senior UQ leadership around teaching opportunities.
The Network Leadership Group steers and guides the direction of the network, including events and communication amongst research-focused staff across UQ.
Network Leadership Group, 2025-2026:
