Assessment that Works: Co-Designing 2026
About the session
What should assessment look like at UQ in 2026? Join this interactive session during Teaching & Learning Week to share practical ideas and questions. You’ll move between small‑group conversations on topics including: using AI well in assessment, managing hurdles, making assessment more inclusive, and what our recent data says about academic integrity, grades and categories. Each conversation will start by drawing on current data and initiatives. You’ll then exchange examples, test solutions, and note gaps and opportunities.
Your insights will feed directly into the Assessment Subcommittee (ASC) work for 2026 and help put recent ASC decisions into practice. We’ll finish with a quick whole‑group wrap‑up and morning tea to keep the conversation going (leading into the AI TIGs session and a book launch).
Who should attend
Directors of Teaching & Learning, program/major convenors, integrity officers, chief examiners, learning designers – and anyone working to improve assessment in courses and programs.
