About this session

Ever wondered what makes some academics award-winning teachers? What do they do? How do they do it? What does it take to do teach in an innovative, engaging way?

Experience award-winning teaching as some of UQ’s national award-winning teachers share their practice and their insights. Susan Rowland (Science, 2014), Carl Sherwood (Economics, 2017), Janette McWilliam (Humanities, 2014) and Paul Mills (Early Career 2008 and Science 2016).

The event will be opened by Distinguished Professor Peter Corke from QUT, winner of the 2017 Australian University Teacher of the Year award, providing insights and perspectives from outside of UQ.

The event will open with a light lunch and conclude with a brief Q&A session.

This event is open to students and to staff.
