About this session

This session will focus on the four models of use of ePortfolio at UQ with case studies and discussions on each; Developmental, Collaborative, Reflective and Showcase.

Case studies will be presented by key users of the system and discuss their use, benefits, thoughts and challenges.

Attend to learn about:

  • Key uses of ePortfolio
  • Real life use cases presented by those involved
  • Benefits and Challenges of use
  • Lessons learnt from use across the models
  • Integrative model approach to also be discussed

Who should attend?

This presentation should be attended by Academic Staff and professional staff who may be interested in what ePortfolio can be used for or who support Academic staff in its use.

  • Understand key differences between the models of use and why they may or may not be applicable
  • Appreciate the onboarding process and strict time limits to ePortfolio onboarding

About Teaching and Learning Week 2018

The 2018 UQ Teaching and Learning Week ran from Monday 29 October to Friday 2 November 2018, focusing on a range of innovative teaching practices including:

  • blended learning
  • enterprise and innovation and
  • Students as Partners.

The 2018 program (PDF,142KB) was designed to provide staff with opportunities to network and discuss teaching and learning in contemporary contexts, and how this impacts on the student experience and outcomes. The Awards Ceremony was held at Customs House, recognising and rewarding excellence in teaching, the provision of outstanding learning environments and support services to students.
