About this panel session
An expert panel will discuss future employability needs and capabilities in an ever-changing environment which includes developments within industry 4.0, data science, artificial intelligence, etc. The session will focus on the need, responsibilities and opportunities of industry, university teaching and collaborative research in the scenarios. The panel will discuss their view of the future:
- Employability, capabilities, and future learning needs,
- Micro credentialing and the role of industry and universities in (professional) accreditation of learning,
- Research and cutting edge developments, connecting capabilities of industry and universities for best impact,
- Globalisation and how Australia can remain globally competitive in industry, education, and research.
