The Course Insights dashboard integrates data from Blackboard, edX Edge and SI-net (i.e. course enrolment data) within a filterable user interface designed to promote data exploration and sub-cohort comparison. The dashboard also provides basic email intervention functionality with the ability to filter and identify groups of students. The workshop will focus on practical interventions that can be made using the data and visualisations while a course is being delivered. You will be encouraged to review your course data with a peer or learning designer. The workshop will also provide an overview of the UQ learning analytics roadmap and other availability of data science services.
