Design of guidelines and a tool for learning process reconstruction and analysis
Presenter: Ms Shiva Shabaninejad
Shiva is a PhD candidate in ITaLI and ITEE School and a casual Lecturer in Business Information Systems (BIS). Shiva holds a Master in Software and Systems from Polytechnic University of Madrid. She has worked more than seven years in industry as a software architect and developer and has undertaken four years of research in software optimisation (IMDEA Software Research Institute, Madrid, Spain) and business process mining (Technical University of Eindhoven, The Netherlands).
Shiva’s lecturing expertise is in database management systems, managing business data, data warehousing and she has also experience in teaching electronic business systems and strategy. Shiva’s research interests include learning analytics, educational process mining, educational data mining, process mining and machine learning.
About Learning Analytics and Digital Learning Community of Practice
All UQ staff are invited to attend these sessions aiming to develop a community of practice around learning analytics, evidence-based teaching practice and digital learning.
Each session intends to cater to a variety of presentation and participation formats including presentions, lightning talks, practical data processing tutorials, predictive model building tutorials, learning tool design sessions, recent publication/conference overviews, as well as panel discussions and debates.
