About this roundtable
With the shift toward online learning, educators should consider the challenges for students associated with digital inclusion. Different time zones, accessibility of software in different countries, availability of devices for engaging in online content, privacy of data and technological skills are just some of the digital inclusion issues which confront both students and teachers.
Facilitated by staff who have successfully engaged with a range of different technologies for teaching in the online COVID-19 environment, this roundtable discussion will provoke and share student insights on digital inclusivity and consider what digital inclusion looks like in teaching and how to make courses more inclusive for students.
