About this workshop

University educators can promote gender and LGBTQIA+ equality in their courses. This workshop aims to further a conversation about creating teaching spaces that enact the values and commitments of UQ Respect. In the broader context of facts and figures on student safety including sexual misconduct and harassment, the workshop will prompt thinking about pedagogical practices and curricular choices that can foster inclusion. Participants will share stories of their practices while connecting with teaching staff from across UQ as we learn from and with each other.
