About this workshop

Contemporary models of learning emphasise the importance of approaches that engage learners in higher-order learning activities, provide rich and timely feedback, facilitate peer learning and peer feedback and personalise learning. But as workloads and class sizes have increased, instructors are unable to find the time and resources to develop these rich, active and personalised learning experiences. With RiPPLE they can.

This session has three main parts:
  1. An Introduction to RiPPLE, which is a UQ developed and supported platform that transforms teaching into an active, social and personalised experience.
  2. A panel discussion on reflections & lessons learned from course coordinators that have adopted RiPPLE.
  3. Presentation of survey results (N=150) on students’ perceptions of RiPPLE.
