About this session

The pandemic greatly accelerated the shift to more flexible, digitally mediated learning experiences for higher education students around the world. While online and blended learning are not new, the rapid acceleration in capability and availability of networked devices has opened up opportunities for learning at times and in spaces that were not possible even a decade ago.

This workshop will address the topic of shifting modalities. In doing so, we will explore with participants the experiences of the pandemic in a broader context as a foundation to discuss the emerging possibilities for personalisation across time and space. The on-campus versus external/online learning dichotomy no longer serves our purposes.

This session is designed to serve as a stimulus for the UQ community to seize the opportunities for flexibility and personalisation on the horizon.
