Learning in the Archives

The special collections at UQ's Fryer Library can provide a unique learning experience for students.  This session will introduce educators to the kinds of material and pedagogical activities that can be done in UQ's rare books collection. Archivist, Belinda Spinaze, will introduce the Library and its range of rare material. In addition, Dr Lisa Walters and Dr Victoria Bladen will show how they have brought students for several courses to this archive to teach postcolonialism, Shakespeare, and gender as well providing a space to showcase creative works by students.
