The focus of this session will be the Lead through Learning AI Tools and Technology in Teaching and Learning project and will be a focus session for learning designers to share their thoughts in T&L support and the impact of AI on assessment and learning design to help identify needs in this space.

Jess Tsai will facilitate the discussion with the intent of gathering information to surface requirements, gaps, risks, and recommendations on AI tools and technology in teaching and learning.

The collective insights will help shape the university’s future approach to AI in teaching and learning, informing and advice to the PVC (ESE) and the DVC (Academic) on priorities for technology, support, and approaches.

You are welcome to attend either in person or online.

About Lead Through Learning (2025-2027)

This series of events supports Lead through Learning (2025-2027)—our whole-of-University strategy addressing the rapid rise of artificial intelligence in education.

The strategy has 2 main goals:

  • Preparing students for responsible AI use. Equipping students with ethical, practical AI skills they can use in their studies, careers, and communities, and preparing them to lead and shape the future of AI integration in their fields.
  • Maintaining the integrity of the learning process. Ensuring that academic standards are upheld through secure and credible assessment practices.
