About this session

In this session, the audience will experience the learning benefits of applying concepts first and explaining the content later. Through an experiential approach, the audience will learn the value in activating the learner immediately and how this approach can support students to better understand complex ideas.

This session will model how to use applied experiences to meet the personalised needs of your audience and the learning benefits of doing so. This session will provide an evidence-informed teaching approach to support student understanding and engagement in the learning process.

Specific strategies will be provided and discussed, to ensure attendees will be able to apply this approach in their own teaching.
