Gavin Keir

Gavin has over 20 years of experience as a teacher in secondary and tertiary educational institutions; of which 10 years were spent teaching overseas. He has gained a valuable insight into a wide range of pedagogical approaches that can enhance the student’s learning journey. Gavin has extensive experience and knowledge in curriculum materials and assessment design, and the utilisation of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) for teaching and learning.

Gavin is engaged in providing key support to the UQx Learning Design team for the delivery of accessible education to learners worldwide.

His qualifications include: a Master of Applied Linguistics and a Graduate Diploma in Education, and he is a registered Queensland teacher. He is also fluent in Japanese.
