The Blackboard migration aims to supply students with a predictable, user-friendly Learn.UQ experience.

Over the course of 2017 and 2018, faculties have been provided with financial support to change their course Blackboard sites to a standard format.

The project has been approved by the DVC(A) Professor Joanne Wright and the UQ Teaching and Learning Committee.

The standard format has been designed as a result of extensive consultation and data gathering by an ITaLI-led Working Party, in partnership with staff and students at UQ.

It is expected that by the end of 2018 faculties will present all Learn.UQ course sites on the new Blackboard template.

Training and support

The new Learn.UQ layout has embedded support notes and links to help with the organisation of material. It also has suggested text in some content areas.

The eLearning team has made a 'how to' video for users.

Visit the UQ eLearning website for additional resources to help with your migration.
