Septennial Review of ITaLI

9 Sep 2021

Background

The Institute for Teaching and Learning Innovation (ITaLI) will be evaluated under the requisite septennial organisational review process from 15–17 November 2021. ITaLI is the single service-focused cohesive unit at UQ that:

  • provides practical teaching and learning solutions;
  • supports the role of blue sky innovation;
  • embeds new technologies into teaching and learning practice;
  • drives teaching excellence; and,
  • undertakes research that informs policy and practice and plays a role in UQ’s contributions and responses to higher education policy.

In accordance with the University’s PPL 1.40.05 Organisational Unit Reviews Policy, organisational reviews are conducted on a septennial basis. ITaLI was established on 2 August 2014 and is therefore due for review in late 2021.
