About this Masterclass

In this Masterclass Dr Mathew Hillier explores the complexities involved in developing computerised examinations that enable a greater degree of authentic assessment than is possible with current testing facilities.

The session will:

  • present findings from e-Exam trials including student feedback, logistics and examples of assessments,
  • workshop a selection of proposed project resources (e.g. sample case studies),
  • provide 'hands-on' time with a robust network approach to e-Exams.

Benefits of attending

At the end of this Masterclass participants will have developed a greater awareness and understanding of how authentic assessment can be enabled by e-Exams in the context of Australian higher education, challenges and possible solutions. Participants will also have the opportunity to try an e-Exam.
