Mainstreaming the UN Sustainable Development Goals in our curriculum
About this session
Ending poverty, reducing inequalities, ensuring inclusive and equitable education, and taking urgent action to combat climate change are among the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This session will outline the importance of embedding SDGs into our curriculum, to ensure that our students can become the future leaders our society needs.
During this session, we will provide examples of good practice at UQ and other prominent higher education institutions, hear from academics who have been involved in this work, and discuss practical ways for academics to integrate SDGs into their course. Following the presentation component, there will be a Q&A.
