Making Your Work Visible: Demonstrating Your Impact as a Program or Plan Convenor
Program and plan convenors do significant work shaping curriculum, assessment, program quality, teaching teams and student experience. Yet much of this work can be difficult to define, evidence and communicate, particularly when the role involves influence, coordination and leadership across complex school, faculty and University structures.
This Ready to Teach Week panel discussion will explore how convenors can better understand, scope and demonstrate the impact of their work.
Featuring experienced UQ academic leaders and program convenors, the session will focus on the practical realities of the role: what experienced convenors wish they had known earlier, how the role connects with school and faculty structures, how convenor work can be reflected in APDs and promotion, and how to make contributions to curriculum quality, accreditation, academic program review and student experience more visible.
Join us for a candid and practical conversation about how to recognise, evidence and communicate the important work of program and plan convenors at UQ.
