Governance
The Institute for Teaching and Learning Innovation (ITaLI) is located within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) portfolio.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Teaching and Learning) are responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of teaching and learning and the associated organisational units:
- Institute for Teaching and Learning Innovation (ITaLI)
- Library
- Academic Services Division
- Student Affairs.
Academic governance
A number of formal committees and sub-committees contribute to the governance of teaching and learning at UQ. The Academic Board is the senior advisory body.
The Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Committee comprises:
- Assessment Sub-Committee
- Digital Learning Sub-Committee
- Forums and Communities of Teaching and Learning Committee
These structures work together to plan, implement and advise on teaching and learning strategic priorities.
