Educational research: Assessment (integrity and quality for learning)
UQ values academic integrity and takes academic misconduct seriously.
To address issues such as contract cheating and ghost writing, we have in-house researchers who are knowledgeable about the rapidly changing landscape of education, including advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Our researchers are connected internationally and play a role in shaping UQ and national policy through work for Australia’s national regulatory agency ( TEQSA). The shift to online learning in 2020 has brought new concerns and opportunities, and we are investigating assessment practices to ensure the highest standards of integrity and quality.
The following videos are being developed:
- Assessment approaches during COVID-19 pandemic
- Academic integrity toolkit
- Role of teaching modality in feedback and assessment.
