Educational research: Curriculum (leadership and expertise)
Curriculum is about what counts as knowledge.
As students progress in their studies, they become experts in their field and also focus on interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary knowledge. Developing and connecting a curriculum across subjects and levels is crucial for student learning and success.
Our research focuses on curriculum development and leadership, with specialist knowledge in large generalist degree programs. Our research-informed expertise directly influences UQ policy and practice, including engaging students in co-creating the curriculum, and is in demand locally and internationally.
The following videos are being developed:
- The value proposition of the Bachelor of Arts
- Identifying challenging curricular concepts through co-creation of curriculum.
