Educational research: Pedagogy (interactions and learning relationships)
At UQ, we take teaching seriously.
That's why our research focuses on pedagogy, or the theory and practice of teaching that helps students learn.
The pedagogical choices that tertiary teachers make shape students' relationship with knowledge. By conducting research, we strive to maintain an evidence-based and innovative approach to teaching. In recent years, the disruption caused by the pandemic has kept our researchers in high demand as thought leaders in the education sector, as we work to address changing student expectations and new teaching modalities and engagement patterns.
