An interactive session for EAIT academics will run from 11am-12pm to review aspects of courses so that they meet both their learning objectives and the 4-assessment policy.
About Assessment procedure change workshops
Associate Professor Christine Slade (Assessment Lead, ITaLI) and Dom McGrath (Teaching and Learning Manager, ITaLI) are delivering a series of workshops with teaching staff in each Faculty to help them navigate through the assessment procedure changes required for implementation in Semester 2 2022.
These changes include limiting the total number of assessment tasks for 2-unit courses to four and limiting the number of assessment sequences to one.
Workshop participants will be able to:
- Recognise the goals of the policy change and the impact of over-assessment
- Explore examples and good practice
- Design and articulate compliant assessment schedules.
